Burger King has launched three new burgers in South Korea – and one of them comes with four beef patties.
The four-patty “Stacker Whopper” will set you back 12,500 South Korean won ($11.18), contains 1,707 calories, and weighs close to 1.5 pounds.
The burger is available with two, three, or four patties. There’s also a five-patty version, Burger King said, but this is an off-menu item.
The burgers come with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, pickle, and ketchup.
Hypebeast first reported on the new burger.
This isn't the first time the fast-food chain has released a four-patty burger. In November, Burger King launched a burger in Japan that contained more than one pound of beef - and no bread.
That same month, it also started selling an "ugly burger" in Japan, which Burger King said tastes better than it looks. Its distinctive look comes from its four-cheese bun.
And in October, it launched a chocolate-and-maple-syrup sundae stuffed full of French fries in Singapore, after noticing diners dunking fries in their ice-cream.
Burger King kicked off 2021 with a massive rebrand, unveiling its first new logo in 20 years.
It has also announced plans to spruce up its restaurants with lockers for collecting orders, three-lane drive-thrus, and conveyor belts that can deliver Whoppers to your car.
